Belarusian-Latvian intergov. commission

The 12th session of the Belarusian-Latvian intergovernmental commission on economic and scientific-technical cooperation was held on January 25, 2017 in Minsk.

The session was focused on the current position and prospects of Belarusian-Latvian relations in trade, transport, transit and logistics, communications, energy, agriculture and food industry fields as well as inter-regional cooperation issues.

Furthermore the cooperation between the two countries in the field of accreditation was discussed. During the session the Parties were confirmed their intention to develop cooperation in the field of accreditation within the framework of the Memorandum on Cooperation signed between the Belarusian State Centre for Accreditation (BSCA) and the Latvian National Accreditation Bureau (LATAK).
