First China International Exhibition

First China International Exhibition of Imported Goods and Services "China International Import Expo" was held in Shanghai (China) on November 5 – 10, 2018.

The Exhibition was held at the world's largest exhibition complex, with a total building area of about 1.5 million square meters. Visitors from more than 172 countries attended the exhibition, as well as representatives from international organizations and associations from five continents of the world.

Among the organizers of the exhibition are the Ministry of Commerce of China and the People’s Government of Shanghai, as well as the partners such as the World Trade Organization, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.

The Belarusian State Centre for Accreditation as a part of the Gosstandart exposition took part in the collective stand of scientific and technical developments in the thematic section “Trade in Services”, during which the presentation “National Accreditation System of the Republic of Belarus” was presented.

Visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to receive information about the system and procedures for accreditation of the Republic of Belarus as one of the most important components in the national quality infrastructure. The interest of Chinese visitors to the exhibition also raised questions about the involvement of the BSCA into trade facilitation processes between Belarus and China in terms of increasing confidence in the results of accredited conformity assessment bodies.
