For accredited diagnostic stations

On May 20, 2018, the Directive 2009/40/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 6 May 2009 on roadworthiness tests for motor vehicles and their trailers will be repealed.

Instead of Directive 2009/40/EC, the Directive 2014/45/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 3 April 2014 on periodic roadworthiness tests for motor vehicles and their trailers will continue to operate and repeal Directive 2009/40/EC.

In connection with this accredited CAB shall update the scope of accreditation with a view to amending the accreditation certificate in accordance with the procedure established in Chapter 6 of the Accreditation Rules (as amended on June 19, 2017).
