Online meeting of the Belarus-Pakistan Business Council

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, is holding an online meeting of the Belarus-Pakistan Business Council.

During the meeting, the current trends of bilateral trade and economic cooperation development were discussed, as well as specific issues and proposals of Belarusian and Pakistani business in such fields as industrial cooperation, construction, cooperation in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, education, science, information technology, tourism, the set up of joint ventures, and other.

Heads of the BelCCI, the Pakistan CCI Federation, diplomatic missions of both states are supposed to participate in the meeting.

The event will start at 10.00; the connection of participants will begin at 9.45 (the connection link will be sent after registration). Participation is free.

The meeting working language is English.

Information on the Belarusian-Pakistani cooperation in the field of accreditation:

The Pakistan National Accreditation Council (PNAC) was established under the administrative control of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Government of Pakistan as the national accreditation body for conformity assessment bodies in 1998.

Currently PNAC and BSCA are signatories of mutual recognition agreements ILAC MRA and IAF MLA and members of IHAF as well.

It should be noted that the signing by the accreditation bodies of the Parties the mutual recognition agreements ILAC MRA and IAF MLA in scopes of Testing, Calibration, Inspection, Product Certification and Management Systems Certification, and in scopes of Medical Testing, Proficiency Testing Providers and Certification of Persons (accreditation body of the Republic of Belarus) creates conditions for mutual recognition of the results of activities of accredited conformity assessment bodies at the international level.
